Elephant Rocks

 BY HANNAH:

For family home evening we went to Elephant Rocks, the Shut Ins, and CiCi's pizza.
First we went to Elephant Rocks.

How heavy and big can rocks get?

They have amazing moss,

plants,

gigantic rocks,

cool caves where the air is cold,

and beautiful views.

Tight spaces,

bumpy rocks you can ride,

and gigantic all natural rock-walls.

I got stuck behind Caleb.

Rocks are not very nice chairs.

This is the old mining office.  Old train tracks go inside the building.

It's harder than it looks.

Caleb claims he got stuck.

Wall-to-wall.

Miners took out 90 feet of rock.   40 feet of rock is under water + 50 feet is above water.

I loved it.

Next, the Shut Ins.

The Shut Ins is a river/creek.

It has a beautiful trail,

cool bridge,

and more gigantic rocks.

The water sounded almost exactly like Paris Creek.

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllppppppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!

Cold water.

woshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

We're not sure what kind of foot print this is.  Maybe an otter.

There were lots of sea-shells.

We jumped rock-to-rock.

There were tons of leaves.

This is one of the fields there

and another.

Last, but certainly not least, we went to CiCi's Pizza.  Caleb and I had macaroni and cheese pizza.  It was delicious.  It tasted like homemade mac and cheese.

I loved family home evening! Thanks for a great time!
